The Theory of My Relativity A routine life, has brought me stability The structure where I stay, is safe and known, but boring to the bone Last night, I dreamed of her again I’m feeling up for a whole lot of nothin’, again There is no time for us to play, I must save everyone The furious pace fragments all experience Minimizing all I’ve done So now I walk alone…a stable instability On my mark, time, accelerate Slower objects fade from view What I once saw as foundation Never would support the new So I launch myself from a routine death, clear of the runner’s blade I burn through space and time, and the gravity of it all Despite the speed of life, things are much more clear now Lose the guilt to find myself, innocent My God, I’m full of stars Must push the limits of integrity We’re all on borrowed time

Tight Buts 05:10
Tight Buts – I have a need to share with you Something that we know is true Everyone’s got a but or two that tells them what to do Every day, in every way, the hold gets a little bit tighter Every way, everyday, the soul gets a little bit lighter What you gonna’ do? I’ve tried so hard to get through to you You can heal the pain, but not when you’re doing the same old thing Can not heal the pain, with tight buts driving everything Tight buts, tight buts drive me nuts Tight buts, tight buts drive me nuts Tight buts, Tight buts… Someone please listen to me Even if you don’t agree I bet you’ve got a But that never quits Every day, in every way, the hold gets a little bit tighter Every way, everyday, the soul gets a little bit lighter What you gonna’ do? I’ve tried so hard to get through to you Just leaves you begging for more That’s what a tight but does and not much more Tight buts, driving me Tight buts, driving me nuts Tight buts, driving me nuts Tight buts, driving me nuts Tight buts, driving me nuts

March Of The Shadow A new imbalance Just not feeling like myself Again, I’m separated from what’s posed as my reality Mosaic patterns decorate the walls with mental energy Carefully crafted by a thousand unlived lives For everything you know, there is a light side and a dark side If you try to outrun me, I’ll just lead you from one step behind The gloomy days are here, they happen twice a year (one step behind) The sands of times repeat the themes of what was long ago Am I predisposed to wander for eternity Or will I finally take a path and find my way I come in ironic peace, so even if you try to shut your eyes I live in your dreams, I live in the night And I think I’ll stay a while There’s no point denying I exist I’ve been there for all the good times, baby Yeah! I love the night life I want to boogie. And you’re like a Boogie Wonderland Finally awake from the haze that comes with the gloomy days This time I feel that things are looking up for me, yeah Close my eyes to dream of what tomorrow promises A thousand halls of mosaic walls is all I see. One step behind you...

Recapitation 04:58
Recapitation- I told myself, I never needed love Too many things, I’ve been dreaming of When I fall I love, she just took my breath away Now I gotta’ rock and it’ll be OK Underestimate the weight of insanity Always alone in a crowded room, my friend I’m pretty sure that I’m not crazy I’m pretty sure that it was you. Yeah… It was you. It was you, Yeah... Dominate the malaise; Recapitate! A headless man, an angry beast, at best Roll the rock up the endless hill, forever The hands of time never rest. Never. Never. I finally had the dream where I win the love of another mind In a crowded room, alone like me, she wanders deep inside Longing to redefine forever. Redefine forever. Redefine forever. Forever

Wake Up Call 04:43
Wake Up Call For all the chaos in our lives, there is a common thread Sewing hate into our love, creates a common threat We now live in a world where unethical is acceptable Since they didn’t break the law, they carry on, like, some kind of champion In your society, it’s called looking out for Number One The rich are getting richer, looking down on everyone The people won’t revolt, there’s smoke in the hive We are not allowed to be, only the strong should survive What a grand experiment, freedom without life They’ll always take the odds of rifle versus knife You better not raise your voice or they’ll take a little more away Our potential fades to grey, tomorrow spent on yesterday Watch yourself, things could go straight to hell Wake up, it’s not sustainable Wake up, you are not without sin Wake up, your latent Warrior Wake up, to give a damn is American You’re free to hit the snooze, just know that you got something to lose

A Manifested Destiny As the world turns it seems, in constant revolution Every day, two problems more, with only one solution Silence all our enemies and anyone who disagrees History will tell us what comes next We’ve got what we deserve, and to all ends shall preserve A union built on war and greed, and anything that we can bleed We are the ones who sit on the throne We are the ones who pulled the sword from the stone Giving us power over everyone and all…Everyone and all We know it was our destiny to manifest supremacy Clench our fists in narcissistic injury Clinging to what we adore, quoth The Raven, “Nevermore” Sitting there upon our chamber door We’ll get what we deserve, then hope we can return With smoke and mirrors, cast our spells The rest we’ll do with bombs and shells…oh no, bombs and shells We were the ones that sat on the throne We were the ones that pulled the sword from the stone Thanatos awakened, by our prideful ways

Rabbit Season What have I done? Lost in my visions, now I’ll never know What have I done? Layers of wasteland, where little light can go What have you done? I cannot silence the thunder in my head The clouds are turning red It’s rabbit season, rabbit season; it’s rabbit season I tell you my brother, one rabbit to another It’s rabbit season, rabbit season; it’s rabbit season What have you done? You took the kingdom and left the children in 1984 What have you done? Absence of heroes, a thousand closing doors What have you done? You shook the profits, torn from the undead Fulmination Ahead! It’s rabbit season, rabbit season; it’s rabbit season I tell you my brother, one rabbit to another It’s rabbit season, rabbit season; it’s rabbit season It’s rabbit season, rabbit season; it’s rabbit season That’s what’s up…Rabbit Season! What have you done? You killed the rabbit, cute little bunny No. No. You killed the rabbit. Cute little bunny. Cute little bunny. Spear and The Magic Helmet He never stood a chance; No, no, no, no…he never stood a chance, no What have you done? One bolt of lightning struck the fatal blow It’s rabbit season, rabbit season; it’s rabbit season I tell you my brother, one rabbit to another Shut Up! Obey! Everybody get down Now’s a good time to pray It’s rabbit season…

The lyrics are pretty simple on this one: I don't want to be a pinhead no more I just saw a nurse that I could go for (rinse lather and repeat) D-U-M-B Everyone's accusing me (but, at the end I added a passage during the remaster process to bring it more into the MP realm and blend it towards the next song) Don't slip away, slip away Don't be a pinhead no more Although this one got a real facelift getting Myth Pushed...it is a song originally by The Ramones off of their album: Leave Home

Off The Grid 05:28
Off The Grid Must still myself to finally sing this song To say what I’ve been feeling all along I used to care if I belonged In a world of pain and suffering Your world, illusion In your world of no consequence Circular delusion It’s high time for me to get off the grid Good for me to get this off my chest It’s overdue and I’m in need of rest Can’t believe I once belonged In a world of all or nothingness Your world, one dimension In your world, of you never compromise Adding to the tension Randomly, you and me, do the dance, like we know what we’re doing You know it’s true, me and you, we lie to each other and ourselves. It’s high time for me to get off the grid The grid, the grid Goodbye, to everything Time to know my destiny I wonder what awaits me Confidence is building in my mind Willing now to leave it all behind The anger left, then so could I From your world, of pain and suffering That world, illusion That world, it’s got the money curse That we’ll soon speak of as the past Randomly, you and me, do the dance, like we know what we’re doing You know it’s true, me and you, we lie to each other and ourselves. It’s high time for me to get off the grid, off the grid, off the grid.

Better Off Alone Should have seen it coming long ago, When she could not look me in the eye You turned your back and walked away from me Now I’ll never be the same. When you look into my eyes you can see The pain that was her’s, now lives in me Consequently, I fall behind Sometimes the light makes you blind Constant pressure, won’t make a house a home A broken measure, better off alone. Unbalanced energy from a fading star Never attracts what we need; only what we are If there is more to me, than genetic destiny Must learn to calm the water that the ship is on Must slay the dragon, sitting on my gold No fear of dying, just a fear of growing old Now I know, the rest is up to me Responsibility for the unrest that rocks the sea Colors just a thought, when all you dream is black No such thing as a new past and there is no turning back When you look into my eyes you can see The pain that was her’s has been set free It’s getting better, I’m moving on Attracted to love, life and song Life in song If there is more to me, than genetic destiny Must learn to calm the water that the ship is on Must slay the dragon, sitting on my gold No fear of dying, just a fear of growing old all alone Not better off alone, just set in my ways Until I find the girl, nothing to do but count my days It’s a comedy, a nice guy who don’t like anyone It’s a tragedy, a lover that can’t love anyone.

about

Myth Pusher Austin, Texas

This album is over 20 years in the making with many of the primary riffs written between 88-94. I just never gave myself permission to spend the time necessary to make something that sounded like what I was hearing in my head.

It is not perfect, but I know I genuinely did my best in putting this together. If old school rock is your thing, I hope you like it. Good bit of my soul in there.
